What if I did not enroll during the Open Enrollment period October 21st—November 1st?

If you did not enroll during the 2025 Open Enrollment, your 2024 elections will roll over to 2025, except for Health Care and Dependent Care FSA contributions. You may be eligible to make changes if you have a qualified change in status. Otherwise, you will have to wait until next fall’s Open Enrollment to make changes. See the Benefits Guide for more information.

When do my Open Enrollment benefits elections take effect?

The elections that you make during the Open Enrollment period take effect January 1, 2025.

As a new hire, how long do I have to enroll in benefits?

If you are a new hire, you must complete the new hire benefits enrollment with 31 days of hire, including your date of hire. The benefits you elect will be effective on the 1st of the month following your hire date. If you are hired on the first of the month, then your coverage will be effective on your date of hire provided you enroll in benefits within the 31-day window.
